We built these tools for families. We have no interest in your data beyond what's needed to operate the service. We don't sell it. We don't share it with advertisers. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how to control it.
1. Who We Are
Possibilis LLC is a Texas limited liability company. We operate possibilis.io and the ADHD Teen Tools suite — including StudyLyte and StartMode — along with any future tools and products offered under the Possibilis brand.
For privacy questions, contact us at [email protected].
2. Who This Policy Covers
This policy applies to all visitors to possibilis.io and its subdomains, and to all subscribers and users of Possibilis products. "User" refers to anyone who accesses our tools, whether as a parent, guardian, or teen user. "Subscriber" refers to anyone with a paid or trial subscription.
Our tools are designed for teens ages 11–17. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Account creation and subscription management is intended for parents or guardians. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information without parental consent, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.
3. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
- Email address — collected at subscription signup via Stripe and optionally when you provide a teen user email within an app
- Payment information — collected and processed by Stripe; we do not store card numbers or payment details on our servers
- App inputs — information entered into our tools during a session (subject, topic, confidence level, uploaded study materials, etc.)
Information collected automatically
- Basic usage data — pages visited, features used, session duration — collected via Cloudflare and standard server logs
- Device and browser type — used to maintain compatibility and troubleshoot issues
- IP address — collected by Cloudflare as part of standard web infrastructure operation
What we do not collect
- We do not use tracking pixels, third-party advertising cookies, or behavioral ad targeting
- We do not collect or retain the content of AI-generated study guides or task outputs beyond your active session
- We do not build profiles of your teen's academic performance or ADHD-related behaviors
4. How We Use Your Information
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Possibilis tools and website
- To process your subscription and manage your account via Stripe
- To send transactional emails related to your subscription (receipts, trial reminders, renewal notices) via Kit (ConvertKit)
- To send product-related emails you opt into, including usage tips, new tool announcements, and seasonal content — you can unsubscribe at any time
- To respond to support requests and communications sent to [email protected]
- To understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the product
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers necessary to operate the business:
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription management. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
- Kit (ConvertKit) — email delivery for transactional and product emails. Kit's privacy policy is available at kit.com/privacy.
- Cloudflare — website hosting, content delivery, and API proxy. Cloudflare's privacy policy is available at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
- Anthropic — the AI engine powering our tools. App inputs are sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses. Anthropic's privacy policy is available at anthropic.com/privacy.
- Zapier — automation connecting Stripe and Kit. Zapier's privacy policy is available at zapier.com/privacy.
We do not share your information with any other third parties except as required by law.
6. AI-Generated Content and Your Inputs
When you use StudyLyte or StartMode, your inputs (subject, topic, uploaded files, responses) are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate personalized outputs. These inputs are processed in real time to produce your result. We do not store your app session inputs or AI-generated outputs on our servers after your session ends. Uploaded files (such as PDF study materials) exist only in your browser session and are not retained.
Anthropic may retain API inputs per their own data policies. We encourage you to review Anthropic's privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy for details on how they handle API data.
7. Data Retention
- Subscription and billing records are retained as required for tax and legal compliance — typically 7 years
- Email subscriber records are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion
- App session data is not retained beyond the active session
- Server logs are retained for up to 90 days for security and troubleshooting purposes
8. Your Rights and Choices
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email
- Cancel your subscription at any time via the Stripe customer portal at billing.stripe.com
To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
9. Cookies
We use only functional cookies necessary to operate the service — primarily session management for subscription access verification. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect access to subscription-gated features.
10. Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect your information, including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, Cloudflare's security infrastructure, and API key management via environment variables (never in client-side code). No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. If you have concerns about a specific security issue, contact us at [email protected].
11. Texas Residents
If you are a Texas resident, you have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), including the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of your personal data, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal data. We do not sell personal data. To exercise your rights, contact us at [email protected].
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the business evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, if the changes are significant, notify active subscribers by email. Continued use of our products after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
